Trade Arabia is a Bahrain-based online business news and information portal covering various trade and industry sectors in the Gulf Region, Middle East and the Levant.
Founded in 1999, it has been online for more than 9 years delivering business information and trade news updates to millions of online readers worldwide. Trade Arabia's content is also being syndicated by various news organizations in the Middle East, Europe, Asia and the United States.
The portal is organized into news channels, market trends, business directory, calendar of events and premium content section, which is being accessed by more than 1.7 million visitors per month (based on WebTrends October-December 2008 average), and is generating more than 12 million page views per month.

Trade Arabia, the business information and news portal of Al Hilal Publishing and Marketing Group operating from Bahrain, London and the United Arab Emirates, was founded and registered on November 24, 1999 by Network Solutions LLC.
The portal which aims to target the business community in the GCC Region was the brainchild of Al Hilal Group Managing Director Ronnie Middleton.
The very first version of Trade Arabia was developed and maintained by Mariner Technologies, which eventually sold its company to the Al Hilal Group for maintaining the portal in-house. Samuel Thomas was appointed as its first manager.
From its inception in 1999 until 2006, the site has undergone three revamps in terms of design and branding before the current version.
In 2006, Al Hilal Group hired Rana Lababidi to manage Trade Arabia and Francis Xyrel Pangilinan joined the company as its webmaster in 2007.
Trade Arabia is considered one of the Strategic Partners of The Middle East Association[1]
